Modules

eWay-CRM has a number of modules that are already available right in the basic edition.Customers do not apply any extra money for  purchase extra modules - everything is already part of the eWay-CRM.

The following overview lists the modules that are offered by eWay-CRM.

Leads

This module is designed for sales managers, enabling them to record information about ongoing business opportunities.  Sales staff have space for recording the work flow of opportunities and planning other activities. An additional benefit is the link to  Microsoft Outlook e-mail as well as an ability to attach documents.

Projects

The eWay-CRM Projects module is used for recording and managing projects throughout their entire life cycle. As a manager you can define the procedures for different types of projects and ensure that the entire staff will follow procedures set by you.

Project managers have an overview of the relationship between planned and real data and in conjunction with other modules and are able to readily monitor the workload of their team members.  Your project managers can use eWay to lead detailed project journals which will help them identify where mistakes were made, and avoid those mistakes in the future. You as the manager will have a complete overview of all the projects of your department.

Documents such as offers, agreements, meeting minutes, and e-mail communication can be attached to the projects in the eWay-CRM system. Another dimension of this module allows you to find one-click comparisons across projects, efficiency of project managers or determine which teams are most efficient.

Companies

The Companies feature in eWay-CRM records business entities, whether suppliers, customers or other companies.  Sales staff thus have a complete view of the customer, history of ongoing projects, and current demand in one place.

The eWay-CRM system enables automatic recording of e-mail communication with a company or its employees and attaching of documents, contracts and transfer protocols.

An important eWay feature is the ability to attach notes in diary form. In the event that a colleague from the sales department is on vacation, there is no need for the password to his computer to read the history of the business relationship. In the eWay module Reports companies can be sorted by relevance, for example by income generated and the level of priority. You will always have information about which customers to pay most attention to on hand, and customer relationship management in your company will become more efficient.

Contacts

The Contacts module is designed for complete management and record keeping of all business contacts in eWay. This is seperate from the contacts in Microsoft Outlook but fully compatible with Outlook with a two-way synchronization of records.

This ensures that there is no need to manage your contacts in multiple locations and can also be used by third-party solutions to synchronize items with mobile phones, PDA or Blackberry so that your information is always on hand.

In addition to basic data and contact information, eWay allows you to save notes, record the history of electronic communication or attach documents.  An interesting feature is the ability to input information to ICQ, Live Messenger or Skype directly from the Contacts in eWay-CRM when writing or calling.

Documents

The documents module is used for the complete management of all files associated with the management of projects and sales activities that can be attached in the eWay-CRM.

The main advantage is that these documents are directly accessible in MS Outlook and do not need to be searched for in other management applications. Documents can be of any type, such as MS Word, Excel, pictures, etc.

As in the Diary module, the real strength of this module is in the integration with other items - projects, companies or business contacts. Project managers can enter specifications, meeting minutes and sales protocols, and business managers can enter orders, contracts, etc. into the system.

The module includes plug-ins to Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.  You can upload files to eWay from these programs with just one touch of a button.

Users

This module displays a list of all eWay-CRM system users.  This enables the input of user details, provides   information of the projects users are working on, and allows for monitoring attendance and managing earnings of users. 

You and other managers will appreciate the ability to get a complete overview of the staff in one place, create an annual evaluation in the form of a document, record a staff member’s competencies and effectively assign them to the appropriate project.

The sensitivity of the data can be secured by managing the security settings. You can be confident that only authorized personnel will access the data stored in the CRM system.


Reports

eWay-CRM includes a Reports module, which is used for a quick overview of the data system. There are some predefined data sets in the system. You as the manager can find details of the projects, including a chart of team members' attendance, their share of total costs, etc, in just a few clicks.

An interesting report that you can see in eWay is an overview of projects according to their status. In a summary table, you can easily find out to which project manager you can assign additional tasks because he is working on the smallest number of projects.

Customer Service staff will appreciate the data reports that relate to the turnover of each company or index visit in managing relationships with customers.  Their activities can be targeted and will be able to focus on the most prospective clients. Heads of department will find the report useful in assessing the contribution of staff. The annual employee evaluation can then be underpinned by a standardized output.

In addition to predefined sets of data in eWay it is also possible to create your own reports using Microsoft Reporting Services technology. Generally speaking, you can access all the data stored in the eWay-CRM system.


Journal

The Journal module manages all the notes and events of all eWay users. To simplify use, the user can choose from several types of records, which are then identified by different icons.

As a manager you can use the eWay-CRM system to easily track the projects of individual project managers, who keep detailed diaries. You are then always aware of the stage of each project.

The sales manager will appreciate the power of the journal in conjunction with the Company or the Contacts modules, because he will be able to upload notes on meetings, telephone calls or the overall development of the business relationship. The journal is a type of eWay module that will ensure the knowledge and experience of your people always remain in the company.


E-mail

E-mails received in Microsoft Outlook can be saved in the eWay-CRM system. This ensures that the record of electronic communications is kept in the system and will be saved, even if the user deletes it from your mailbox.

eWay-CRM allows you to automatically record incoming and outgoing e-mails and automatic linking to the persons concerned. Without additional effort eWay enables you to keep track of client communications.  In the absence of a sales manager a colleague can access the client information and take care of the client in their colleague’s absence. 

If after several years a customer makes changes to a project that you have completed in the past, you can access two years of email communication just by opening the contact card and clicking on the e-mails tab in eWay-CRM.  This is possible regardless of whether the salesperson in charge of the project years ago is still working with the company or not.

Work reports

The Work reports module enables users to record time spent working on a project, with an accurate description of the specific tasks undertaken.

You as the employer have clear overview of the activities of your employees and of the course of the projects. You can exactly see what activities your employee completed with regard to the project, and when they were carried out.

The Work reports module in conjunction with the Payroll module offers another dimension. In the eWay-CRM system you can easily track the real costs of people on individual projects over time and by using the Reports to determine which project teams deliver your company's highest margins.

With the records in the Work reports is easy to charge the customers for the work performed and costs incurred. The Work reports module in, conjunction with the Reports module, enable viewing the attendance of all employees on a specific project, with graphical representations.


Salaries

The eWay CRM Salaries module will provide you with a complete overview of your employees' wages. The Chief Financial Officer has the option to easily enter the salaries of all workers into the Salaries module, whatever their salaries are fixed or hourly. eWay can be connected to any accounting system, which automates the administrative processes necessary for the operation of the company.

The main advantage the Salaries module offers in conjunction with the Project and Attendance modules, is that one click enables you to determine the actual costs of all the people on the project.


Vacation

Thanks to the Vacation module a manager has an overview of his department's capacity and can automate the process of vacation leave requests. The approval process is fully adjustable. Through e-mail notification of senior staff vacation leave application is very simple. By looking into the user's card, a manager can easily find out how many vacation days an employee has already used and how many are remaining.


Bonus

The Bonus module in the eWay-CRM system helps to determine bonuses to be paid on projects. As a CFO you can define the approval processes that precedes the granting of bonuses to individual employees. The project manager can apply for such a bonus for a programmer who designed and implemented innovative solutions to a problem.

With the ability to create links it is then easy to assign an item not only to the user, but also to the project. Bonuses will then automatically be included in the cost of the project.


Training

In the Training module you can enter and track information about the various courses and training, in which your employees participate.

Based on this information, you can effectively create teams for specific projects. For example if you get a contract to develop an information system for a mobile operator, the eWay-CRM system can simply filter out the list of project managers who have completed training on mobile communications. With this information you can then delegate control over the project to the manager who has experience the field.

You can also generate reports with information on courses completed by your employees, which you can use for example for outsourcing.


Knowledge

The Knowledge module is designed to monitor your employees' skills. It is easy to find out employees´ competencies and accordingly form the best teams or appropriate for outsourcing.

This module can also be used in conjunction with the Reports, where you can easily find the area in which your employees have the necessary qualities and in which areas it is suitable to organize training for them.

Training companies appreciate the module for recording the knowledge of their teachers, and selecting suitable candidates for training in case of an ill colleague can be done with just a few clicks.
